I did it in 2009 & 2010 and I thinking of a raiding mission their this September.

This is just a heads up to say the entries open in 11 days time.

Who else is thinking about it

Oh. I need to have a quick think about this. I did it last year and it was tough but fun. Great to have so many locals out to support the riders too.

Its a good event, but with Steam Racket prices rising all the time, it's an expensive do, so can't imagine I'll be doing it again this year.

Just a bit of a push up as entries open tonight @ midnight. After last year ending up running the finish i can safely say it's preferable to actually do the event - normally 5hrs for me vs about 14hrs on the day....

I'm going to be doing it for the first time, going with a mate who is a local and rode it last year, but any advice or pointers are always appreciated.

Talked the wife into letting me off the lead again and I'm in along with 354 others so far.

At this rate it won't take long to fill a the spaces

Me, the wife, the sister in law and her boyfriend are all in.
