Ive got a question, My daughter races cyclocross every weekend on her Luath 700 small and I though it was about time to save a bit of weight and upgrade the wheels and tyres. What wheels would you buy your 11yr old???
i'd try and find some planet x model b's if they still have them or some lightly used 2nd hand ones, or possibley the newer al30 seem good value price to weight. Or if feeling generaous some of those stans alpha on superstar hubs superstar were doing for 250 if they have any left. very light and could go tubeless
Or new wheels for you and pass the old ones down
Ive been looking at some Mavic Ksyrium Elite S wheels but Im not sure her 8 speed casette will fit?
Planet X make some great stuff. Ill check those out
8 speed and 9 speed cassettes are the same width, the freehub bodies are the same. 7 speed was narrower.
