Its been just over a year and I have not had to swap a single thing on my bike!

Not even had to swap the tyres, brake pads, chain, ss ring, tubes (have a few patches but over a year old!).

Only cost a bit of chain lube!

Is that a STW record or can someone beat that?

Rear tyre is looking like a semi-slick though ๐Ÿ˜‰

Depends how many miles you do. In a year I will have worn out at least one drivetrain

I'm not surprised if its all steel Simon, must be a bit skittery in the corners though.

I was riding it in London as a commuter to begin with. Then when I moved back to Dumfries, I rode to Mabie, which was my first proper "mountain bike" ride. Only made it half way round to be honest and had to push up a lot of hills. Next time i went I hired a Kona Caldera and was hooked! Realised it wasn't me it was the bike ๐Ÿ˜€

I got as few wierd looks of the kids and all as I had a panier on the side for my sarnies, water bottle and bits n bobs.

I've not HAD to change any parts on my bike either. I have changed parts but there was certainly no requirement to do so, other than my magpie like attachment to new stuff.
