Fyrish are good, fast guys with a secret maze of amazing singletrack. Also doesn´t Steve at Square Wheels in Strathpeffer have a group ride, great stuff round there. There was a Black Isle club too, with a bunch of really fast young guys but last I heard it had died a death, although the link above seems recent which would be great news as it always seemed like a fantatic club. Just the ones I know about.

BI-MBC seems to be for youngsters, rather than 30-somethings, no response from their email address anyway.

I'll see what I can find out about Fyrish, but I'm not on FB anymore.

I think the one around Black Isle might have morph'ed into a simple trail building club.

The Black Isle Mountain Bike Club is going strong; based at Learnie with night rides Tuesday and Thursday and Sunday rides across a range of venues in the North. We're mostly focussed on bringing kids into mountain biking and racing and have a big (and vocal) presence at local and national xc and dh events.

Facebook 'Black Isle Mountain Bike Club' and you'll get the picture. Happy to have a guest grown up along!

Alternatively there is the Ben Wyvis CC, notionally based in Dingwall, who have an XC-race oriented wing and also cater for a wide range of abilities including women and kids too.They too are on FB. Hope this helps!
