Well this has me stumped over a cup of tea, I can push the outer cable up through the seatpost and trim. Can I pull it through the battery casing opening to pull down the dropper as I insert it - Nope. (Yes I am pulling the right cable)
Any advice very gratefully received and asking before I do something daft.

sorted, squirt of WD-40 down cable each end and pull. Worked a treat.
