I've just advertised some Pikes as the steerer is too short for my new frame.
I also have a set of u-turn Recons on a second bike (with a longer steerer) and was wondering if the steerer+crown+stanchions could be transferred over onto the Pikes.
Anyone tried this?
They both are 32mm AFAIK, so it should just be a issue of stanchion length...?
Obviously I can dismantle both and see for myself but before I make an oily mess I thought I'd ask...
