[Closed] Intense Tracer Fork dilemma.... please help!

Evenin' all Righty, I have a Tracer on the way and am currently totally torn between getting something light like a Rockshox revelation or something big and stiff (fnarr) like a Fox 36. My dilemma is that approx 70% of my riding is in the dark Peaks and the remaining 30% of the light DH style at wharncliffe/occasional uplift days. I used to have a fox 36 on my old Reign and it was great but I couldn't help think I was carrying excess weight on all day Peak's rides. The new 36's however, are a lot lighter but still 3/4lb heavier than a RS Rev or similar. The other thing to consider is that the Tracer H/A is 69ish with a 140mm fork or 67.5 with a 160mm fork (although I could get a Cane Creek head angle adjusting headset). Anyway I'd really appreciate people's thoughts, I'm trying to achieve a balance between all-day-ability and stiffness/squish. ta (oh and the other thing to consider is that I can get revs for about £300 and fox 36's etc about twice that!)

Cool, which ones did you get Si? Do they have travel adjust etc?

(not that I'd use it much really)

nope, despite being a massive fan of travel adjust, I've taken advice / chatted to a lot of people over the last few weeks and went with fixed travel and trust the bikes geometry. There the latest RC2DH ones, 170mm travel shimmed down to 160mm maxle light.. Sat on the front of the Nomad they felt like a trail fork really.
