After looking at Jedi's moody skies pic it reminded me that this weekend saw, I thought, one of the most stunning skies out to the west coast. None of us are photographers, but we did manage to get a few pics between us.....what a cracking reward for all that climbing!!!

I saw that from the top of Gable at about 3pm. Sat about for a bit waiting for the sun to drop below the cloud (but it got a bit chilly and I'd said I'd be home by 4pm). Was it like that all day then? Maybe it was the devil rising up to smite they who pedal on felltop footpaths (that is Ill Bell is it not?)?

Boxelder it was indeed Ill Bell but bearing in mind the path has mostly been turned into what I would describe as a motorway, I'm sure the devil wasn't feeling too smitey!!! We had peeks of that sky throughout the ride, but those photos were taken the same time you were enjoying it.......about 3pm 😀
Ahhh.......... that was FC admiring my photo number 3! I asssumed it was SFB just from looking at the sunset photos...........cracking shots FC 🙂
Have better versions of these on proper camera but not with me.

It's taken from Ditsum looking across the river with Greenway to the right.

Mine's just as it is. I did the composition, the camera did all the hard stuff sorting out the exposure and whatever else digital cameras do.
