I'm liking Jad's Cruachan one, Zokes' cloud sea and Gingerflash's fisherman silhouette.

Cheers for the comments ๐Ÿ™‚

Should have labelled them really:

1) View south from the old Roman Road above Llanfairfechan from Chester to Caernarfon

2) View south from the summit of Glyder Fach. Snowdon is out of shot on the right, no idea what the indeterminable peaks are in shot without some serious OS map trawling, as due to the cloud sea, there's no reference points!

3) View from Tryfan SE over the shoulder of Glyder Fach

4) Looking wast from the hear of the Forest of Bowland. Sadly this was only a cameraphone shot, although the 'star' is actually venus

5) View north from the summit of Bera Bach in the Carneddau

6) View from a mate's garden above Rossendale. The backlight was the huge bonfire party....

Plenty others here, some much better than others....

How are some of you (i.e. gingerflash, sfb, slugwash) managing to get so much of the sky in the shot?

I take it you're not using a compact and have an slr with a wide angle lens or something?

Saw this out the kitchen window while washing up one night so put the (crappy compact) camera on the bonnet of the car in the drive and took a pic, some people have said I should edit/rotate it. I like it like this.
