currently got 120mm forks, 2 1/2cm spacers, 5degree stem and hi rise bars. feel a bit perched when compared to my trusty ole hardrock. cockpit on the inbred is smaller, seat + bars are higher too. if i get flat bars/remove some spacers will it fix this or just give me backache? cheerzz

i hadn't considered them but the tyres i've got on atm are 2.0s, which aren't that high profile. its more the upright position which makes it feel a bit unstable. how many cms worth of spacers do people use? anyone using flat bars on an inbred?

Try a few tweaks, it's surprising what a few mm can do to the feel of a bike.

Same height as me, same bike as me, same size bike as me, same length fork as me. ๐Ÿ™‚

As bassspine, try a few tweaks...don't need to get flat bars if you have spacers you can move first. "seat + bars are higher too"...try lowing them then "cockpit on the inbred is smaller,"...try moving the saddle back a bit (I've a 90m stem and layback seatpost)
