I've got an On One 853 single speed inbred with a White Brothers Rock Solid fork on. I've always run 26" wheels but as the fork will take a 29er front wheel I'm considering going 69er. Just wondering if anyone's done this with the original geometry inbred and how you got on.

I put the front wheel off my cross bike on my 853 once for a laugh. seemed perfectly fine using standar on one carbon forks

and I didn't die which helps

I've a scandal (26 - same geometry?) with a 29er and rigid fork - is fine IMO

I've got the same frame and fork and did it recently. I wouldn't bother again though different terrain might affect that.

The main thing I noticed is how little difference there actually was...

Thanks for the feedback after looking over the previous post there doesn't seem that much advantage so I'll probably stick with my 26" setup.
