[#13535560]

Google-fu is failing me here. Looking for a bracket for a Garmin that’s essentially a bolt on version of the elastic one that comes with it, ideally with a 31.8 clamp.

Can’t seem to see anything that doesn’t put the computer in front of or behind the bars, rather than over them. Anyone able to help?

I would check the Wheels Manufacturing Company, available from Freewheel or any Madison dealer. There are stem mount options that are strong and neat and bar mount too.

There are quite a few options really, in plastic or metal & I'm pretty sure I've seen top cap mounts too if over the stem isn't a problem.

This looks promising and quite solid.

@Pjay that Magicshine looks spot on - I shall give it a go…

I’ve a K-Edge top cap mount for my MTB but the Hybrid of Doom has a quill stem so that’s out…

I was looking for exactly the same and there is surprisingly slim pickings so went with the magicshine as per Pjays link....its nicely made but, as per Amazon reviews, my Garmin 530 did have a bit of play. I just bodged it with a bit of electrical tape in the middle of the mount which does deform as you fit/remove the garmin but it does help and is an easy 'fix'.

Also ended up having to buy an additional fat shim so I could mount further out, closer to the brake/shifter levers

I bought this a few weeks ago and it's perfect. Garmin sits centrally above the stem.

Magicshine mount here and fitted, seems ideal (and as it’s over the leading edge of the bar it puts the computer slightly further from my knee which is good). I do see what @nuke means about it having a bit of play but think I can live with this for the time being at least…
