I know they are HOPE before anyone says the obvious

I need to get some pads for my mate

my thoughts are M4 circa 1990

1990? Eeee lad, I wish we'd had Hope disc brakes in 1990. Or indeed any disc brakes.

dont wanna hi jack your thread, seems pointless opening another as i have the same issue, brakes bellow, they have no markings on the calipers at all so not sure what they are. please ignore the horse

Those are X2s with Tech levers.

hope site says they should have x2 etched onto the caliper? these say nothing?

First one are e4. Pads are common to dh4/e4/m4 (not m4 mono). Also, the banjo and bleed nipple are interchangable to tidy that hose routing. However, inside the fork leg would be better. I also have some number 8 caliper halves if you fancy a swap. Those would fit 205 front/ 185 rear.

Doesn't matter. It's an early X2 caliper which, same as the early M4 and V2, had just the Hope logo on the rear.

oops did i say 1990 i meant 2000 but thanks for the guidence... off to CRC for the pads
