Trying to put together 2 week motorhome trip - not into big towns/cities and prefer the coast (but she likes historical architecture/building etc), after 'great scenic spots' and bike bimbles (up to say 25 miles non techie for gf, e.g. canal routes etc)
The 'route' is
- start Dumfries/Galloway
- Lindisfarne for a night
- maybe York
- poss Aldeburgh/Southwold area
- Oxford
Have to start in Dumfries/Galloway - so Clatteringshaws/Glentrool as there are bits there I want to do,
we want to spend a night on Lindisfarne (*have done Kielder)
Craster ? (done Staithes and Whitby)
Scarborough? North York Moors for a heather view (going in May),
the Wash - edge tracks to E of Fosdyke Bridge
want to do Aldeburgh/Southwold again (have done Cromer/Broads )
just after any stop places ideas, quirky pubs, great spots, bike bimbles etc to see if we can string together a vague plan
