My 1 by 12 conversion not going well .
I wanted the xt8100 lever , but seems the ev fitting does not work with my deore 6000 brakes.
Anyone know a hack to make it work , or want a swapsie.

Whats i spec ev? Is this yet another version? I can't keep up.
Probably cheaper to sell something and replace than look for expensive solutions.
Yep another annoying new option. Looks like I can get an adaptor. Selling and buying again for the band version another option, but not seeing any stock of the band on anywhere . So anyone want to move to ev who has a nice band on shifter ??
Doesn't the piece that slots into your brake lever ( the curved bit with the two slots) attach to i spec ev shifter.
My hope tech 3 adapter works for both versions.
Was your previous shifter bar or I spec 2.
I spec 2 shifters still fit to the new brake lever by changing the supplied bolt to a shorter one.
Previous shifter was bar mount, tempted to buy that curved bit separately if I can. So the old mounting gubbins from an ispec shifter .
If your previous shifter was 11sp XT ispec 2 the bracket YO3K31000 should work, SLX & Deore had different brackets. I assume you were running lesser spec than XT or bar mount so don't have that bracket. Someone should have a spare for you on here to save you buying a new one or you could change the m8100 cover unit for bar clamp YOGT98020. Sjs cycles usually has spares.

Previous shifter was xt 9 speed bar mount , so no mounts to reuse .
I am guessing any ispec 11 bracket will work ?
Will contact sjs next week , can see the body is out of stock . I think I will need both the bracket and the mounting bolt, which starts to get expensive .
Happy to pay if anyone has something to fix this . Swap a band on xt for an ev anyone , or a spare bracket ?
Just checked, the bracket from my XT ispec 2 YO3K31000 fits perfectly to my m8100 ev shifter using the slanted silver nut and bolt that comes with the m8100 shifter so it should slot into deore m6000 brake lever too. I've got hope tech3 levers so I've not used it, half price if interested.
