So i need a new hardtail 18" bike, with a price range of £400 - £500. Any suggestions?

If that's afull bike price, you could do worse than a Carerra. Diamond Back and GT make some good bikes at that sort of price too. 🙂

If you can stretch your budget, or find one a bit cheaper, the Genesis Core 10 would be very near the top of my list.
