MegaSack DRAW - 6pm Christmas Eve - LIVE on our YouTube Channel
Like it says, not difficult to love, great atmosphere, loads of banter (shouted at me by some randomer: come on big fella keep going, in response: I can't feel my tes****s, in reply with laughter: you won't need them where we're going!).
Friendly encouragement, caring are you ok's, show offs cleaning sections, real people walking them, some folks on very expensive rides, some on claud butlers (came past me like i was stood still), Dan Atherton milling with the crowd and being thoroughly cheery, big fraz winding folk up at the feed station, crazy ska band, spooky woods, thinking I had cataracts at the top because it was so misty, amazing marshalls, very skilled paramedic on his quad, brilliant locals waving rhubarb at us and kids high fiving. More ladies than I remember from before which is great for the sport, music and banter back at the finish. And the mug....
The marshalls and organisers are brilliant they put heart and soul into it and the atmosphere makes folks come back.
I love our sport, the dyfi to me is a fantastic showcase for how sport can be, all inclusive and yet challenging for all.
Couldn't agree more!
Looking at Coed y Brenin in October,
Same folk, hopefully similar atmosphere.
