.............. Christmas. And more specifically, CAKE at Christmas. Nom nom nom!

Nice slab of mildly (not overly) alcoholic Christmas cake with a good cup of tea on a cold night in the lounge with a warm jumper on and the lights on the Christmas tree twinkling away, Mary Poppins on the TV.

Heaven.

[gets back to work with a wistful sigh]

Cheese. Yeeeeuch!
But each to their own I say!
Seems to be a popular combo amongst Northerners that, never heard of it in Nottinghamshire.

I have permission to put the outside lights up round the front garden at the weekend. Woo hoo!
Not loads of santas and stuff but 4 sets of rope and LED lights (no not DX ones, and I don't know the lumen ratings!) in and around the shrubs and bushes. Looks really nice and everyone loves it as no-one else on the street does anything.

I'm with AndyP
Cake, cheese & whiskey - preferably a single malt but any would do!

Mrs PP made an Advent Calendar so we can put funsize choccy bars in it this year, rather than the tiny bits you get in commercial ones. ๐Ÿ˜€

No chance of fitting cake in it at all?

Maybe even a slice of Soreen?
