good god, hit by wing mirror and then run over, how that poor man must have suffered before being released.

This one is just as depressing.
I think the sentencing on this case - if the driver is found guilty - will be an interesting litmus test of whether the justice campaign and publicity after the London tragedies in November have had any effect.
The driver didn't do it deliberately, but strikes me that if the tide is going to turn any time soon, this will be the case to see it happen if the circs are as reported
