[#12104744]

Had a few on the list but the focus atlas 6.7 won because wheelbase had one in stock, in my size on good finance terms. Ordered Tuesday afternoon, delivered Thursday afternoon.

converted the wheels to tubeless and hacked up some SKS AL 56 guards to fit. GRX 400 seems pretty damn good.

liking it so far, slower than my old road bike but not too much and loads of old Skool xc routes round here to explore. Green lane commuting tomorrrow.

Is there a reason why it says ‘this topic is empty’ at the top.

Likewise, makes me want to do the gravel thing on the gravel thing I bought a year ago but haven’t ridden for a few weeks because I’ve been riding the road thing instead!

Nice! And a perfect trail. Reminds me of Elan moorland

And you’ve just solved my SKS Edge fork-fit problem. Why didn’t I think of that!? I was going to try and cut/carve scoops out of it to fit up against the top of the fork-legs (as it’s too wide/low atm). Cutting it in half is so much easier 🤦🏼‍♂️

What mudguards are they?

that was my first approach but it removed too much support from the front guard and it bounced around all over the place and then fell off....

I shortened the rear as well by about 20cm. it was bouncing on the tyre in the middle. now they don't move at all. probably not enough coverage for a wet club run but the likelihood of me being on one of them is close to zero.

carved up SKS AL 56
