Totally bizarre question, but I've seen been offered a frame that i would like but it is above my budget, it is fitted with a CCDB so price is higher to reflect that.
If I brought the frame and offered the CCDB in exchange for a cheaper Fox RP23 plus some £££, how much money would i be likely to get?
Now I know that CCDB is meant to be amazing but at the current price I can not afford the frame, so don't get hating on me for wants to rid a bike of CCDB!
Dunno. How long is the CCDB? If it's a 240mm, I could do you a DHX5.

But bear in mind that to get the most out of any other shock you might have to get it tuned for your weight/bike, which would cost £100 or so, and you'd be left with a cheep shock and no more moolah anyway.

Depends on size of shock and what's needed etc, I do need a cheap CCDB to test a few things with so maybe able to sort you something out
