Hi

Does anyone have one of these I could borrow for a couple of days to shorten my rear cable ?

Or similarly any advice of a cheap one or alternative I could use for a one off use ?

Any normal (gear) cable cutter will work absolutely fine.

Yep I just used gear cable cutters on mine, worked fine. Assume they're not braided. If you're in a bind you can always pop down the local screwfix and grab some cheap cable cutters.

I got one I’m in Bredon.  So not a million miles away,  won’t cut metal braided cables kind it’s one of these:
