Dakine Nomad. Always preferred them to Camelbak.

I just got a camelback Octane which is so light you dont even know its there. I had a Dakine Helipro pack which Id used for years before but was just too heavy. The camelback will get used a lot more because its so light.

Osprey Talon 5.5 for rides where a couple of bottles on the bike and a tube wrapped to the seatpost isn't enough or Osprey 12 for bigger rides with more clothes to carry.
I now even have an Osprey courier bag. They're the Man. City of the bag world. Underated, understated, classy and about to go global.

+1 for Osprey, Raptor models are the bike specific ones.

I was looking too. Not bought anything yet but the two that caught my eye were the North Face Hammerhead because it was cheaper than most others and the Osprey Raptor 14 because it looked the best both visually and in spec.

If you want light weight then Inov-8 produce some nice packs.

I had one of the original style Hammerheads and it was very heavy compared to the Osprey equivalent. The newer style may be lighter but if not, the weight alone would put me off. I also found it overly busy. It had more pockets than the Endura Humvee Bondage shorts had zips.

Just get a bottle, sweaty back and carrying too much gear is all a camelbak will result in...
