[#11649969]

I'm in the process of buying a new wheelset....decided on a Superstar 29er set....when speccing the freehub I'm given the option of either SRAM XD or Shimano 11 speed. Currently running an old SRAM 10 speed setup. Am I right in thinking that I'll need the Shimano 11 speed hub?

All these standards are insane ffs!

XD is SRAM specific. What do you have now? If it’s XD then you’ll need that again. If not then you know Shimano will be fine.

Shimano 11spd will be right.

Shimano 12 is different as it SRAM XD.

Hi Tom,
You should be good if you buy the Shimano 10/11 speed driver for your 10 speed SRAM cassette.
To be sure, you could always remove your cassette and see which driver you have.
