My ride yesterday was more akin to cross country gloop skiing than mountain biking.
Trails round here now have a layer of mud over a layer of leaves over a layer of mud over a layer of root-ridden chalk. For some sections I could have dismissed with the services of a front wheel in favour of some sort of snowmobile type ski arrangement. At one point I came to a dead stop, both feet on the pedals and dead upright in the middle of a 2ft deep flooded rut
Character building stuff..... do you think it's possible to get trench foot on a bike?
Yeah, great isn't it 🙂
Certainly keeps you on your toes... well what's left of them.
tri bars on a mtb??? 😯
I'm guessing TD
Ooooo. avert my eyes......bad bike equipment clash
is that a bike rack on yer handlebars ? ...and your fork appears to have lost a leg.
And i thought bar ends on risers were bad...
ho ho I've never heard that lot before. It's *functional*, ok? 🙄 Long distance/fast touring setup.
Do you wear an aero helmet and skinsuit when riding?
Fast touring in that mud?
btw, Flatfish got it right
td?
dont worry if the metoffice forecast out to xmas is right well all be frozen up so bikes will remain nice and clean:

mmmmmm..............head down into the frozen wind - aero helment certainly needed now, but you could put something extra on it to make it more functional like a wooly hat?
Makes sense for the td then.
