As above. Have a 2012 one with only install marks on post, bleed kit and all tools etc. What should I sell it for? I know the price of these seems to be going down but not sure who has the cheapest at the moment

I believe there was a link yesterday to a refurbished one on crc for £100. Didn't come with a bleed kit but it did have a warranty.

Had a look on crc but couldn't see it. They were all 249?

I think that merlin & CRC sort ruined the 2nd hand value when they churned them out at about £150. I bought one via topcashback and it totalled £138.

I think most people are now fairly wise to the pricing and are willing to wait a while to buy new at the right price. It's a real shame but I think folk are a bit skint at the moment too. It's a tough time of year to sell stuff.

IMO, the main value of a dropper post (GD excluded) is the warranty.

Stick it on ebay today (free listings day) and see, I bet you'll get more than £150.

It's only on here that people will be clobbering you down saying "CRC once sold one for £100 so you've can't ask more than that".

They're £200 or thereabouts on Merlin (limited sizes in stock) and £250 on CRC, so you should get back £150+ on ebay, maybe as much as £170.
What various retailers have discounted them to in the past is irrelevant - look at what they're selling for now.

I'd start it on ebay for £150 and see how it goes.

It's only on here that people have a good idea of what items have been disounted for, and in all likelihood cleaned out the mail order offers thanks to numerous PSA threads reducing price and demand".

FTFY.

You will no doubt get more on fleabay- so many people got cheap ones from links here (we did same as Mildred) there's less demand and people are more likely to hold out for another round of offers (given Merlin, CRC and others all did massive discounts on them in the last couple of months). Stuff routinely goes for close to RRP on Ebay so even after fees you'll be better off.

Mine is with sram at the moment as it had a fault. I owned it for 4 months. Its overkill for east Anglia, 2 flat. I've watched a few on eBay over the last few days and they make £180 ish so will stick it on there when it returns

I sold mine for £150.

It had just been serviced and rebuilt by SRAM / Fishers as it broke, so was basically new, with new stanchion

Had a thought. If it went on eBay and made £180 like the ones I watched have after eBay and PayPal fees im down to about 160 so will offer it on here for that when it gets back from repair
