I'm looking at upgrading my wheels but i'm specifically interested in the rims.

Currently running Alex FD16 which are 434g, but the EX5.1 i'm looking at using is 500g.

Am I really going to notice this increase on my SS? I know all about the theory of rotational mass ec, but this doesn't seem a massive increase in weight.

Well I put half a bottle of slime in mine and certainly noticed the difference .

If its harder to pedal you could get gears ๐Ÿ˜‰

Why upgrade to wheels which weigh more? unless what you already have are damaged I see as a pointless move.

I need a hub upgrade pending new forks, but I've spotted a wheel at a decent price excepting its less than perfect rim.

Hence the question.
