sorry, Its 8,000m so about 24,000 ft

8000m is over 26000 feet.

just been on the garmin connect site, two riders tracks are recorded, or at least i assume so. One has 3,400m the other 3,900m. I guess the discrepancy could be weather, gps signal strength etc. Anyway should give an idea of what was involved last year, 4000m isn't that bad over that sort of distance.
