Am I right in thinking that a Wiggle "Gold" account discount only applies to products which aren't already discounted in some way?

Not quite… it applies to the non-discounted price, so (IIRC Gold is 5%) if a £100 item is discounted by 3% then Joe Bloggs pays £97 but a Gold customer pays £95. If it’s discounted by 10% then both pay £90.

Yeah, it's a percentage off the full price, useful if it's a new product and not reduced anywhere. You do need to keep buying stuff from them regularly or it goes back down to silver etc
