OK i managed to bugger up the installation of the non drive side bearing on my hope xc rear hub, lets not go into the hows and whys but a certain amount of stupidity was involved. I had no spares at the time so I finished building it up and have ridden it, it's ok but NDS is a little rough. Now Can I just knock out the axle and NDS bearing to change it or will hammering the axle out ruin the drive side bearings too?
shouldn't be a problem, just check they are ok when you remove and if in doubt change them
I know I should keep spares but....well CBA. Just buy what I need 🙂
I've been googling bearing change videos, WTF do people video a wheel spinning? Do people care that much what the freehub sounds like? Lots of vids of a rear wheel spinning 😯
