Have you looked at completed items on ebay?

Depends on whos buying- it didn't cost him any more than standard kit, and I doubt you paid a premium- so its more about how you value it!

my pal paid 60 for a front pro2 purely because it was team green...
the brakes tend to go for a tad over standard rrp..

stems are sometimes sold for the less than a brand new one in black.

I didn't know it was different to stock stuff, that's a bit naughty.

Why would anyone want the pro green hope stuff on their bike unless your are actually a pro rider 🙄

Trouble is, unless you ride like a pro, then you look a bit 'try hard' with it.

Didn't green use to be a standard colour years ago, I know my lads bike has some green Hope.

oldgit I think green was a std colour awhile ago, probably around the sametime purple stuff was still being produced.

For what it's worth ... who knows? - but personally I'd not pay more than 'box fresh' proces for used stuff.

Incidently last time I looked an outfit called 'Tarty Bikes' had some singlespeed / trails green hubs availible.

how 'pro' do you have to be to get some?...

id say look at other second hand stuff in similar condition and price it the same as that, maybe a teeny bit more. its not like its better because its team and whilst many people probably think it looks good on team bikes they probably dont care enough to pay more for it. depends how keen you are to get rid of it i guess, you dont want to be stuck with green team kit if they change to a different colour next year do you? 😛

I had a polished GT Zaskar years ago with some nice green bits. Green ringle hubs/bottle cages,green CK headset green seat collar.

Got a nice green ano based build up going on for my new singlespeed - was lucky enough to find a NOS green ano Ringle bottle cage , to replace the dented and now toasted one I've had for >10 years.

Really suprised green is not more widely used as a colour.

I agree that it's a nice colour and should be in the range, but I don't see why people would pay more for it unless they really wanted green!

That's because Hope made the stuff too well, and Danny's not been able to break any yet.

Definitely something you should have to earn, not buy.

Just to say, I'm selling some stuff for a mate of mine who's a also a Hope sponsored rider and I've just been selling it for what the standard hope stuff goes for on here. So stems £30 posted each. Hope Pro 3 wheelset - £210 posted, etc.

Think that's fair, but then my mate and I are in favour of easy sales and it is STW after all! Hope that helps a bit. Cheers!
