I am currently running a Rotor 46/30 chainset in my Niner gravel bike, but I want to swap it out for a Shimano 2 * 11 36/26 so that I have a more suitable gear ratio. Just wondering whether.
a) What options do I have with the BB. Do I need a completely new BB or can the PF46 which I currently have (30mm axle) be modified for 24mm Shimano?
b) Will a Shimano XT work on the Niner or will the BB shell width mean it's not possible?
The top hat spacers linked above are what I've been using on my fatbike for a couple of years now.
I thought they'd be a creaky mess, but have been perfect.
Sorry if I am being vacant, but do the sleeves just press into the internal diameter of the bearing you are reducing down from 30mm to 24mm?
The FSA logo throws me as you won't see this?
Not used them myself but been eyeing them up so I could use an Ultegra crankset with my BB386 bike.
Haven't actually done so because there are no Ultegra cranksets left.
