Morning folks
I know this has been asked hundreds of times but for the life of me I can’t resolve it.
Running 1x12 on SRAM and Hope rear hub and for some reason there is drag and not freewheeling. Bottom bracket is running smooth, chain/cassette/rear mech all clean. Hub running smooth, freehub stripped and clean and cassettes spins without issue or drag until...rear wheel back in. Standard DT bolt through not QR, tightens up as normal and then freehub stops spinning. Even if I loosen the rear DT bolt a little so not tight it still doesn’t spin!

seal between freehub an hub shell not pressed back into the retaining groove correctly? Done this many time with mine......
do they still have the washer that needs to be put in the right place or it binds?
The green seal?
I think there are two washers that appear the same, wrong order results in your symptoms.
Freehub seal not seated correctly (or deformed) or freehub spacer missing would be the most common causes.
Here - pick hub and the drop down menu will give the exploded diagram so you can see if its all where it should be on reassembly.
