Was lucky enough last week to get a nose around the factory and can safely say it was one of the best days ever.

Would seem it's a regular thing so If you get the opportunity I strongly urge you to go for a gander or pester your LBS to ask Hope nicely.

So many shiny things and a great history in our sport topped off by being a bunch of really nice guys. Couldn't stop grinning all week.

I'd be interested in having a gander - is it only via LBS or suppliers then? Or is there a way joe public can book on? Even for a small fee? I can bring along pictures of my hope brakes to prove I'm a fanboi?!

LOL, I'm not sure. Said they have them every week.

One of there riders took us for a spin over Gisburn afterwards and found myself polishing all my Hope bits encase he checked my bike over.

If I wasn't before I'm a fanboy now.

EDIT:

Do you need to get out more?
Yes, yes I do.

I'm going to stick to my guns;

Free day out - check
Shiny things - check
Free great coffee - check
Informative - check
Inspiring - check
Free lunch - check
Riding - check
Sun - check
Cock - Nope
Hookers - Nope

Oh crap, no you're right, let down by the last two categories.

as factory tours go, it has to be up there with the best. It's a pretty cool place full of very cool things.
I've never had the "official" tour as such, but have worked there several times as a supplier.

the museum bit on the ground floor is a treat.

Just spoke to the chap who organised it (our local LBS) and he just called them up and asked if he could come along on a tour. He told us about it/booked it back in Feb.
