Got one at shop albeit wider. Will weigh it anyway for you in an hour or so.

It is similar in quality to a Thompson. Just not quite as nice.

If you like hope you will like it.

The new crank bros models are v nice as an alternative.

Anyway. Will post later when in.

Sounds pretty similar weight-wise to a Thomson

No it's a good bit lighter, Thomson 410mm x 27.2mm is around 296g, IMO Thomson are heavy lumps and can't understand the fascination with them even the clamp isn't all that.

Yep, Thomson stems ans seat posts are far from light.

True, but at 350mm max it has limited use, plus 200g is not super light for a 350mm post especially for the RRP.

im not really looking for "super light" i have a ritchey WCS carbon 31.6 weighing 130grams on my other bike....

i want something i can have confidence in to strap a bag - be it my carradice or some to be purchased revelates designs seat pack too ...

60 quid isnt alot for a seat pin is it - my ritchey was 175 at the time !

cheers for the info guys - i suspect it will be a hope going on my bike.
