Does anyone know the charge for parking in the car park in Hope opposite the cafe?
Is there a cut-off time for charges?

Thanking you

I though most car parks were legally required to display their tariffs? 🙂

More than parking just outside the village and riding in.

Thanks bigyinn - I expect they do
🙂
but as I'm 30 miles away at the moment and will probably need to get some change thought it might be prudent to find out if anyone knew

Its expensive so I park on the road, far too much money for what little is provided. Just a grotty toilet, there arent even any waymarkings on the trails or bikewash facilities so I normally head to Cannock Chase instead.

I remember it being expensive the last time I went.
I will find a 'free' parking spot if any are available

Thanks for all the responses guys.

Just for future reference:
£1 for under an hour
£1.60 for 1-2 hours
£3 for 2-4 hours
£5 all day.

Valid from 8am to 6pm

Got there at 5 so only cost a quid and car was under trees (avoiding crow dumping ground) so was relatively cool when we got back.

Great ride round Shatton, bradwell, Cavedale

unfair to locals if you park on the street, this is outside the new build houses and shops. Use car parks if not local imo

I avoid parking in the carparks in the Peaks. Why pay money for what is a natural resource for the people?

I save the car parks for the ramblers, tea-shoppers and parents and park a mile out in an unremarkable spot and ride in. Or start my ride somewhere else en route rather than in town.

park by the church just up the road, not in front of anybody and free
