Morning all.
I have a Hope bulb front hub, and just been sent a QR adaptor for it (from 20mm), so i can build a wheel.
one of these:

Only issue is - the converter seems to be too long - even when it is threaded fully together, has ~5mm side-to-side movement.
Do i need any spacers? Have i got the wrong adaptor?
I've wedged it in the middle for now to build a wheel, but its far from ideal ๐
Cheers
Tim
Looks like a BULB QR converted. What does it look like if you screw it right in outside of the hub and line it up - does it still look too long then??
you sure your hub is a bulb and not a pro2 ?
Is it a six bolt hub or is it a splined one with a lock ring?
The adapters are different!!
That one looks like the one for the older splined bulb.
They are a snug fit, try putting a bit of grease on the adaptor, mine was the same.
Measure the outside faces, it should be 100mm.
Not sure how to make sure though. 6 bolt hub - looks like i have wrong adaptor
It screws together fine and cleanly - runs out of thread - will measure it anyway
Right...looks like I need the other adaptor then.
Not sure how to check what hub/yr it actually is mind ๐
It could be a bigun hub converter, I have one that only fits the bulb with some spacers on the axle.
Good luck getting it to fit.
I think my one has equal ends as per the first pic.
