I've the facilities to make some LED lights a CNC machine, RS catalogue etc. However I've not got a clue about the electronics behind it. Could someone guide me in the right direction please!

I'd like to know what type of LED to use
What battery to power said LED
reflector type
And any other relevent info.

I realise this is a big ask and I could google it but I thought asking a more bike specific audiance may give me the answer!

Thanks

Have a look herefor some ideas of mine.

Nine Cree MCE in a fan cooled case. At nearly 7000 lumens I reckon it's the brightest in the world (for now).

Use Farnell for the bits, not RS.

I'll post some beamshots when the floods die down.
