It's my club dinner/awards the same evening. As I have already chickened out of the post match piss up, I may as well sack off the race too. And I don't want to fall asleep into my soup.

and the competition is a higher standard

Anyone know the nearest train station to the drinking venue got a lift there but not to sure my mate will want to go drinking afterwards as he is driving!

I've done the most miles and am the fittest i've ever been before in January and feel confident i wouldn't let myself down but circumstances dictate i need to save every penny i can, pity really as i had big olans for racing this year but life is conspiring against me ๐Ÿ™
