Changing the tyres on my bike last week and couldn't get any pressure in to my Flash Charger.
Took the plunger out and found the rubber 'bung' at the end had disintegrated and therefore wasn't forming a seal.

I have been in touch with Trek GB and this isn't an available spare.
Has anyone had a similar problem and managed to repair or replace the plunger head?

Had a similar issue on a different brand pump the other day, mine was just a large o-ring that had worn. I don't know if you could bodge one to fit in the groove?

Worth remembering to use some silicone lube every so often in future as preventative action.

I had similar, with my flash charger- a large wodge of grease round it and down the barrel sorted it out for a while, now needs a few strokes before it firms up though, so guessing it's a short term solution.

Pretty shit piece of equipment in my opinion.

I’ve just greased my flash.

In the ole days dads pumps had leather seals and he fixed using a bit of soft leather, could you try a greased chamois bung/seal.

Googled bike pump piston seal, the seal *looks* like one I had in a really old fashioned long up down alu pump with the schrader valve long rubber screw in bit stored in to the pump head.

Good luck
