Have just been cleaning the internals of a Fox Float 32 FIT RLC fork I got second hand. All nice and clean now and ready to put back together, but I've found a washer which I have no idea where it goes!
It's very thin and it's internal diameter matches the hole in the bottom of the air side stanchion.
Any clues where it goes? Pic below. If it's the same size as the hole, then surely it's this one...
...that seals this...
...or is that too obvious?

Thanks for replying, but no it's not that one, that's a plastic crush washer. The washer I'm talking about is metal and very thin.
And the hole it matches is at the base of the stanchion, not the lower.
The washer doesn't look thick enough to be a crush washer. If it isn't plastic definitely not unless its previously been bodged.
Definitely NOT a crush washer!!!
Ah, I thought that was a bit too easy.
I know this isn't your exact fork, but Fox don't seem to have diagrams for everything.
Could it be Valve, 0.860" x 0.628" x 0.040" here?
Incidently, looking at that diagram makes me realise Fox do use a confusing mixture of metric and imperial measurements in their forks. ๐

It may be that same size but I'm pretty sure it isn't from the damper side. I've scoured fox tech help and can't find a diagram of either the air spring assembly or the lower legs.
Somebody must have come across this before! Please!!!
