Hi,
I currently have TRP Spyres on my pinnacle dolomite.
I've bought some Tiagra hydraulic brakes as a treat.
Without doing any homework I'd assumed they'd simply swap over.
Alas no, they have what I have now understood to be a road mount size!
My frame and forks look like they have carry over mtb post mounts.
I'm running 160mm rotors front and rear.
Please can someone point me in the direction of where and what mounts I need?
Don't you love it when your simple upgrade requires additional cost, time and hassle...

Send them back; you can't fit them.

What he said.

The only other option is to pick up some cheap Shimano post mount calipers and fit those and keep the flat mount ones for future use.

Bugger. I've got a few sets of shimano mtb calipers lying around so it's that or send them back. Gutted.

I think it's your only option nowadays. All Shimano, Campagnolo and probably SRAM are now flat mount, so your only option is to swap the caliper with an MTB one.

Or you could try Juin Tech R1s or TRP Hy/rd for at least better braking than your Spyres. THey'll work with your current levers.

I haven't tried it, but I'm fairly certain you can fit the MTB calipers to your hydraulic road levers.
