I've narrowed it down to Spesh Ground Control if I can find one. Had it in 29 and liked it.
Bonty xr4 for no other reason than I've always liked Bonty tyres .
Or Nobby Nic as my bike currently has the 2.25 and it feels ok.
It will be for the front and used in dry , rooty conditions.
Are they all pretty much the same size? After riding my Fatty the front feels tiny.
So speedy in a straight line and grippy in loose corners please.

Is there a 2.35 ground control? The old 2.3 ground control is a bit undersized imo and certainly a lot smaller than a 2.35 nic. I haven't tried the xr4 so don't know how big that sizes up.

I bought some XR4s very cheaply via a great PSA on here, and they have been fantastic-high volume, good support, tough, tactile grip and not bad rolling.I rate them over any of the Schwalbe offerings I've tried on the rear -ie Dampf and Nic although Magic Mary beats it for fun front use grip.
I have Xr4s back and front on my hardtail and on rear of my full suss.
