Hi
Im building up my winter project a commencal absolut sx frame! But i cant get the seat post to fit. its defo the right size post as it came off a Commencal absolut 4x frame. The seat post are the same size at 31.6.
Before i buy another seat post has anybody got any advise on how to get the post in?

Take the seat collar off. Measure the inside of the seat tube.
Measure the outside of the seat post.

Take the collar off, clean it out and examine the slot, make sure its the same width from top to bottom. If its narrower (even 0.5mm is enough for fail) at the top then the right seat post will never fit, gently open it up with a large steel bar.
