Oh wise STW collective I'm looking for next full sus bike and here's my wish list:-

27.5 (ideally take up to a 2.6" tyre, 2.8" clearance would be perfect)
140-160mm suspension
Boost rear (and ideally front fork)
Ally frame
Threaded bottom bracket
Preferably not Fox suspension
1 x 11
Internal Dropper post
Not heavier than 31lbs
Slack, fast & fun
Max budget £2.5k

Geo wise if it could be a full sus version of my Sonder Transmitter I'd be happy as. So far on my list to test ride are: Bird Aeris 145, Whyte G160, Cotic Rocket (bit over budget), On One Codeine 275. Anything else I should be looking at?

2017 Specialized Enduro or Stumpjumper Comp ticks most of the boxes

The bird is a good shout. The service from those guys is amazing.

I'd say front forks are a must rather than ideally.

Plenty of bikes around but that kind of clearance is going to be tight. No way from what I've read the codeine will come close, not sure the bird (my current version series wouldn't) or others will unless they are plus specific

The Aeris 145 will do 2.6 no worries. Not 2.8 though. Well it will probably fit, but the clearance won't be great.

Have you looked at the new orange 5? 140mm rear 150mm fork. I'm wanting to demo one soon as I'm in a similar dilema

Rose Granite Chief? 2017's are out but you might see a 2016 on their website for a bargain.

Intense tracer 275A, foundation build? It does run a 2x10 drivetrain but could be swapped given the cheaper price.
Trek remedy 8 has most of what youve mentioned but no threaded BB.
