I am looking for a commuter bike with panier compatability, disk brakes and the ability to take wide tryres. After searching I have found the Cotic escapade (new one with verticle dropouts) and the Specialized sequoia elite. Both bikes fit the bill and I was wondering if anyone had any real world experience with either, what the ride quality is like, how heavy they are, how they perform on road etc.
Any other segestions for these type of bikes are welcome.
