I’m sat here about to finish building a Scandal (bought a rolling chassis) and adding cassette and tubeless is first task, however, I can’t get the wheel off. It’s a boost Novatec hub with a stealth axle. I thought they were all 6mm Allen key jobs but I’ll be buggered if I can’t work it out! I know it’s more secure but what a faff.

Anyone enlighten me before I lose my fragil mind?

Have you tried a different size Allen key?

Bloody hell. Literally the last little stubby bugger. I think perhaps 10mm.
**** of the day to me for not trying every blooming key on my bike tool set.

2nd question. What QR axle can I replace this with as I’m not always gonna have this Allen key on me and it’s a faff?
