plan to visit there in a few weeks in a party of 6 so ideally looking for a cottage or similar or a cheap b and b.
can anyone recommend anywhere ?

awesome, they look cool.
only slight problem is one of the party snores like a beast and i think the whole log cabin will be shaking 🙂

They are pretty cheap, get two and put him in the other one 🙂
+1 for the cabins BTW. Pretty basic but ideal for a biking group

Cae Gwyn farm .
I stayed there , 40 min walk to the pub in the evening . The owners will run you up there if they are about , and the LL will run you home.
Clean quiet and comfortable. Good breaky too.
