I have rounded the allen bolts in my sidi's .do i have to drill them and replace the back plates?

Just drill them out - or cut a flat head into them with a dremmel and screwdriver them out.
new plates aint many pennies.

just drill the heads off untill you can get some pliers on the bits left.
do not drill into the plate.
