I'm considering looking for an older Heckler frame or similar single pivot ( don't want to spend big bucks )to hang my speedhub off for the winter months. could anyone give me a potted history of the frame changes and general advice re what was best or best avoided.

I think the only change after 2003 was the longer shock.
Great bike, I feel no need to change mine.

great allround bike mate.
but when i get another... 😉 i am gonna run a 150/160mm for on it, cos i reckon 140mm on a xl frame is a little too low at the front.
and run a coil on the rear.
